Not sure whether you need a flush mount or semi-flush? The key distinction is ceiling height and drop clearance. Rooms with 8-foot ceilings and standard door frames of 6'8" leave roughly 16 inches between the top of a doorway and the ceiling. This is enough for a semi-flush with a 6–8 inch drop. Rooms with 7-foot ceilings may be better served by a Tiffany flush mount. Rooms with 9-foot or higher ceilings can accommodate a Tiffany pendant or Tiffany chandelier.
