The wisteria-themed lampshade on this Katie Wisteria Floor Lamp is deep, intense blue when the light is off, but turn it on and it becomes a rich variegated combination of purples and blues that glows so beautifully. Highlighted with brightly colored 'leaves' and light accents, the shade sits on a tall, organic-looking base that has a bronze-like finish. A great floor lamp, this one takes three 100-watt bulbs.

Construction

The bases and supports for Chloe lamps consist of resin, resin/art glass combinations, or metal/resin combinations. Different finishes complete each lamp, giving them the best combined look the artisans can produce. All of the Chloe shades are made of Tiffany art glass and built with the traditional copper foil technique. Though tapping on the glass may give a plastic-sounding noise, that is actually the protective coating required to strengthen the glass, thus providing a more durable lamp.
