While traditional Tiffany lamps are defined by hand-cut stained glass assembled in the copper foil technique, the broader family of Tiffany-style and art glass lighting encompasses several distinct material traditions. Each with its own visual character, light quality, and design vocabulary. This collection brings together lamps defined by their material: mica glass panels, opalescent agate stones, mosaic glass tiles, and crystal glass configurations that differ from the standard stained glass lamp tradition.

Mica glass, the material favored by the American Arts and Crafts movement, creates warm, amber-toned light through translucent sheets of natural mica. The Dale Tiffany Camelot Mica Floor Lamp and Quoizel Laguna Mica Pendant are excellent examples: the mica panels produce a honey-colored glow that is distinctly different from the jeweled brightness of stained glass. Agate is a natural stone, the Meyda Tiffany Agata Table Lamp, Agata Purple, and Agata Opal use genuine opalescent quartz agate stones set into the lamp shade, creating a one-of-a-kind natural variation in color and pattern that no two pieces share. Mosaic glass, represented by the Dale Tiffany Johana and Bradshaw Mosaic flush mounts, creates a tile-like surface of small glass pieces that scatter light in a distinctly different pattern from leaded stained glass. The Quoizel Highland Table Lamp features a wicker-weave outer structure around an inner glass shade, a material combination unique in our catalog.

These pieces are for buyers who want something distinctly different from the standard Tiffany stained glass lamp. For the traditional stained glass collection, see Tiffany table lamps. For all Meyda Tiffany pieces including the agate collection, see Meyda Tiffany lighting. For all Dale Tiffany pieces including mica and mosaic, see Dale Tiffany lamps.
