Chloe Grenville Floor Lamp

The Chloe Grenville Floor Lamp is a delicate Victorian piece built for rooms that favor soft, feminine color over bold statement. Its wide dome shade is assembled from 342 individually hand-cut stained art glass pieces in pale sky blue, cream, and soft pink. A palette that reads as light and airy rather than rich and saturated. Red and green jewel accents punctuate the floral design without disrupting the shade's overall lightness. Two pull chains hang from the junction of shade and pole for independent bulb control.

At 342 glass pieces plus 33 beads and 24 crystals, the Grenville is one of Chloe's more labor-intensive constructions with each piece individually wrapped in copper foil and hand-soldered, following the technique Louis Comfort Tiffany developed in the early 1900s. The crystals catch and refract light at specific points across the shade's surface, adding depth plain stained glass alone cannot produce.

Tall slender pole and round ornate base in dark bronze. Shade diameter: 18 inches. Accepts two 100-watt bulbs. Approx. 67 inches tall.
