The Chloe Gode Reading Floor Lamp features a four-sided, pyramid-shaped stained glass shade hanging from an arched downbridge arm. The Mission-style geometric shade uses warm yellow and cream glass panels accented by central red and orange square details and a dark amber border.

Supported by a slender vertical pole with decorative scrollwork at the top joint, the lamp rests on a flat, textured square base finished in antique dark bronze. This fixture provides a structured profile and focused downward lighting.

Construction

The bases and supports for Chloe lamps consist of resin, resin/art glass combinations, or metal/resin combinations. Different finishes complete each lamp, giving them the best combined look the artisans can produce. All of the Chloe shades are made of Tiffany art glass and built with the traditional copper foil technique. Though tapping on the glass may give a plastic-sounding noise, that is actually the protective coating required to strengthen the glass, thus providing a more durable lamp.
