The wisteria-themed lampshade on this Katie Wisteria Table Lamp is deep, intense blue when the light is off, but turn it on and it becomes a rich variegated purple that glows so beautifully. Highlighted with brightly colored 'leaves' and light accents, the shade sits on a footed, organic-looking base that has a bronze-like finish. A great table lamp, this one takes two 100-watt bulbs.

This Tiffany-style wisteria design table lamp will compliment many decors throughout your home, with its unique, willow-tree style in deep purple and green. This piece is handcrafted from over 410 pieces of hand stained, hand cut art glass, each piece is wrapped in a fine copper foil and soldered together, using the same technique as Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900's.

Construction

The bases and supports for Chloe lamps consist of resin, resin/art glass combinations, or metal/resin combinations. Different finishes complete each lamp, giving them the best combined look the artisans can produce. All of the Chloe shades are made of Tiffany art glass and built with the traditional copper foil technique. Though tapping on the glass may give a plastic-sounding noise, that is actually the protective coating required to strengthen the glass, thus providing a more durable lamp.
