Meyda Tiffany Middleton Wall Sconce
Details
The Meyda Tiffany Middleton Wall Sconce does something few lighting fixtures can: it turns the wall above it into part of the design. The triangular upward-facing shade directs warm amber light toward the ceiling and outward in a distinctive fan-shaped pattern, casting colored shadows across the surrounding wall. The effect is visible in the primary product photo, the lamp is shown lit, and the warm glow radiating upward is as much a feature of the fixture as the glass itself.
The shade carries a motif in warm amber-gold with a green border strip across the top edge and small red accent jewels at the design's focal points, colors that are deliberately lighter and more translucent than the Middleton table lamp version, allowing more light to pass through and amplify the wall effect. Meyda Tiffany handcrafts each sconce using the copper foil method, with every glass piece individually cut and soldered.
Wall sconces free up surface space while adding the same hand-crafted warmth to a room that a table lamp provides. The Middleton pairs naturally with the Middleton table or floor lamp for a cohesive room look. Accepts two 60-watt bulbs. Ideal for hallways, dining rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms where overhead lighting alone isn't enough.
